The Memory Craft 6600P sewing machine is the successor to the immensely popular MC6500P which has been hailed as the perfect Sewing Machine for big projects.
The Janome 6600P has all the features of the 6500P .... an aluminium body with a longer arm that provides 50% more working space than other machines.... a high powered motor which can sew up to 1000 stitches per minute - 25% faster than most machines and it is a flatbed machine, styled for those bigger projects such as home furnishing, bridal wear and quilting.
Industrial quality tension control, variable foot pressure, a built in needle threader, a knee lifter, unique automatic thread cutter and a large extension table, complete the exterior features of this machine. Inside it is a computerised dream machine with lots of stitches for specialist sewing techniques plus 7 styles of one step buttonholes.
A memory facility and up to five times satin stitch elongation add even more options to your sewing. There's even a speed control and a built in information system which is relayed through the iconographic screen. But now the 6600P offers even more !!!!

The most important thing to consider is how thick is the thickest fabric you will ever want to sew with the machine? The machine can have all the features and functions you need but if it’s not capable of sewing your denim jeans or curtain header tape you will want to throw it through the window! The sturdier the machine is; the better.
