New Patchwork Course

An excellent course whatever your level of experience, come and develop new skills under the guidance of an experienced tutor who has taught at various colleges in Cornwall. (Bring pattern, fabric and sewing kit). Use of sewing machines available although brining your own is a preference. Stack n Whack

Using two fat quarters of your choice you will cut, fold, and sew your fabric into interesting designs and shapes to create an interesting placemat. Please bring your sewing kit.
Drop in sessions, day workshops and demonstration days
Day workshops are £20 per person unless otherwise stated and run from 10.00a.m 3.30p.m
Please ask for a copy of the course requirements for full details of materials, threads, cottons and anything else you will need to bring. Samples for most of the workshops are available to view at The Sewing studio.
Patchwork Drop in Sessions with Mary Bradley
Weekly Mondays 11 a.m 3p.m £5 per session
The increasingly popular drop in sessions are great whether youre new to patchwork, in the middle of a project, wanting to learn a new skill or even just to meet other fellow patch workers, the drop in session will be suitable for all of you. There is no commitment to paying for a term you just turn up as and when you can. Your experienced tutor will be on hand throughout to give advice and guidance as well as you all being able to help each other. Tea and coffee are provided.
How to use your feet

The aim of this class is to help you use the right feet for the right job as well as using the correct stitch lengths and widths. We will use all the feet that come with the machine as standard and some optional extra feet. Please bring your own machine with instruction book and accessories

One to one tuition
Tutor: Dee Davies
We offer an hourly rate of £20.00 per hour for one to one tuition. You can book for either one hour or up to a full day the choice is yours.
Dates are on request and subject to your tutor being available.
Please let us know of any classes and workshops that you may be interested in and we will try to run these in the future.
We have been told that get to know your sewing machine classes are required and will aim to run these in the future. We do not currently have a tutor to teach Husqvarana and Bernina sewing machine workshops but will look into the possibility of running classes at a later date.
If you are interested in Brother or Janome get to know your sewing machines classes Dee would be able to teach those classes once we have enough interest.
