We approached Vicki after following her journey on The Great British Sewing Bee (2023). When finding out more about Vicki, her Instagram reflected the honest, open and friendly personality that she had - so we knew we had to work with such a talented sewist! We couldn't have been happier with what she ended up producing.

Vicki had her eye on a few free patterns on our website, but the Dear Mr Claus quilt pattern was chosen in the end. This pattern consisted of 20 present blocks with name tags and ribbon. Vicki enjoyed searching through our wide range of fabric and chose a mix of our Christmas themed Lewis and Irene & Ruby Star Society fabrics.

The rest was down to Vicki! She said,

“For me quilting is all about fond memories, so what better project than a Christmas inspired quilt to cuddle up under on chilly evenings.”

We couldn’t agree more and think her finished piece is a one-off work of art.

She took her finished quilt on a Scottish holiday and took some amazing photos of it and the breathtaking landscapes.

We loved to see that this quilt fitted perfectly in Vicki's lounge and cannot wait to see what else she makes in 2024.
