This foot is used for sewing on beads, spangles, etc.
- Preparing the machine :Needle: Left or right (left is preferable.)
- Stitch type: Three-thread overlock or wrapped edge overlock
- Stitch length: 3-5mm
- Differential feed lever: Normal position
- Upper knife: Working or non-working position
- Sewing: Select sewing method (A) or (B), then determine needle position and sew 2 or 3 stitches.
- Turn hand wheel with hand until needle point is level with fabric surface on its upward stroke. Then insert the end of string of beads into guide on presser foot.
- Sew 2 - 3 stitches by turning hand wheel with hand.
- Press beards lightly with left finger while sewing.
- Sew the last few stitches by turning hand wheel with hand to avoid beads interfering with needle and loopers.
Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
