Stuart Willard's first collection for Lewis and Irene is named 'Hajime' from the Japanese 'to begin'. The collection and colours are inspired by vintage men's kimono, once ubiquitous in Japan, everyday workwear was made almost obsolete but re-imagined for modern sewing projects, clothing, quilting, bag making and crafts.

This quality quilting fabric can be used for patchwork fabric quilts and other various creative crafts, and can easily be used with domestic sewing machines. Its continuous length allows for tailored projects including clothing items like dresses or shirts, as well as curtains, cushions, pillows and numerous crafting projects.
