Create perfect pieced hexagons with 2“, 4”, or 6“ finished centres by squaring up each round of strips as you go. Since each round is squared up before the next set is added, the blocks created are perfect hexagons. Or use the markings to cut 2“ to 8“ finished hexagons and every even size in between.
Note: This tool cuts finished hexagons that measure 8“ from side to side. From point to point, the cut hexagon is slightly less than 10“, so they can be cut from 10” pre-cuts.
Pattern requires inset seams? No problem - use the drilled holes to mark the seam allowance. Want to cut half hexies to avoid inset seams? The markings for half hexies are included as well.
The tool slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, the exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts!

Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
