The area above the needle that allows you to see your pieces being sewn under the needle has been streamlined for better visibility and it comes with a bonus petite sewing pouch containing scissors, pins and much more.

The Janome Atelier 6 AE is a computerised Sewing machine that is easy to operate via the clear touchpad and button controls. It has 200 stitch options, including 1-step buttonholes, utility, decorative, and fonts, both upper and lower case. Auto tension, auto thread cutter, and auto needle threader make setting up the machine quick and easy.

It comes with Janome's Acufeed technology, which is a superior walking foot system that ensures layers and stretchy or tricky fabrics are sewn with ease. A straight stitch needle plate is included which is great when sewing at the top speed of 1000 stitches per minute and for quilting and free motion. Needle plates are easily changed with the quick-release lever, which also makes cleaning the machine a breeze. 

Excellent build quality, strong motor, and adjustable presser foot pressure give the machine the ability to cope with various types of fabric, right up to 8 layers of denim! The Atelier 6 AE is a joy to use across a wide variety of projects.

The atelier 6 ae is a contemporary styled, well illuminated, free-arm sewing machine. The rigid die-cast aluminium frame ensures stable sewing even at high speeds, up to 1,000 stitches per minute and the larger arm space and superior AcuFeed™ Flex layered fabric feeding system ensures the machine is equally suited to both larger projects and precision sewing.

Packed with 196 stitches including 10 auto 1-step buttonholes and 1 font (4 alphabets). The atelier 6 has an incredible 91 needle positions and an easy change needle plate to enhance straight stitch performance. There are 6 LED lights in 3 locations, an automatic thread cutter, superior needle threader, 9mm decorative stitches and 7 levels of foot pressure. The LCD screen has 8 direct stitch selection keys for commonly used stitches plus easy access to functions – stitch elongation, twin needle setting, mirror image, stitch startover, machine lock and the set menu. The stitch chart is inside the lid with stitches grouped together for their functionality – buttonholes, satin stitches, quilting stitches, decorative stitches, alphabets, etc. There is an adjustable knee lifter to help pivot on corners and even a remote thread cutter port!
