Bernette B37 Sewing Machine Review
The Bernette B37 Sewing Machine is a wonderful little machine that’s full of great features while staying very budget friendly.
This machine is perfect for any level of sewist with basic stitches that work for quilting, garment sewing, and more.
This machine is very easy to operate and select stitches using the buttons below the LED screen at the top of the machine. And you’ll be able to select stitches using the stitch reference guide that pulls out from the bottom of the machine. Keeping it at the bottom of the machine means that it stays out the way and is less likely to be damaged throughout the life of the sewing machine.
You’ll have access to 50 stitches, including 5 that are automatic 1-step buttonholes and plenty of utility stitches that are great for many different projects. It’s very well-rounded for any kind of project. You’ll be able to create beautiful garments, intricate quilts, and durable home décor as you please.
This machine features a top loading bobbin so that it’s less likely to jam. You’ll be able to avoid thread nests and jams as you work. You’ll also be able to clean the machine easier. Cleaning your machine regularly will help you extend the life of your machine and avoid non-routine maintenance (meaning you’ll save yourself some money simply by dusting out the lint around your bobbin casing!).
If you’re someone who likes to free motion quilt, you’ll appreciate that you’ll be able to drop the feed dogs with the Bernette B37 sewing machine. This machine comes with a decent amount of workspace, too! You’ll find 6 inches of workspace to the right of the needle. This is plenty of space to roll up smaller to medium-sized quilts while you work on them.
